On the NYC-NJ Flag's 5th Season Anniversary, Commissioner Daniel Doherty announced the creation of the first ever  NYC Flag "HALL OF FAME" to honor the league's greatest players, coaches and non-playing league personnel and officials.

The requirements for entry as a player/coach are:

• Minimum of five (5) seasons of NYC-NJ Flag Football  league participation in A-Division

• Superior athleticism/coaching ability

• Part of a winning program

• Multiple awards/championships a major plus

• NYC Flag career spent as a positive team and league role model
